(For 圆1 and other second gen users, you will still need to update the driver as part of step five below.) UPDATE: I have created a standalone executable for Windows for those that do not want to bother with the steps below. The option that I will walk you through using is a command line tool that doesn’t need to be constantly running in the background, and doesn’t require any internet connection to work.ĪPRIL 2019 UPDATE: liquidctl now has the best support all around and automated windows builds! Use this and forget about everything below! Thankfully, there are open source alternatives available.

Their CAM software on the other hand is slow, bloated and possibly stealing your data. Unfortunately I don't have a way of uninstalling CAM 3.0 now because it's still looking for a CAM 2.NZXT Kraken coolers are awesome for CPUs or GPUs. I managed to unzip CAM 3.0 and replace the files so now when it tries to run CAM 2.0 it boots to 3.0. Now when I try to change or remove the program it looks for the CAM 2.0. I used to have CAM 2.0 but instead of going to my programs and hitting uninstall I went to the source files and deleted them from my PC. Is there a way to completely nuke cam from my system. it might be the cable also i had a dead internal usb to micro usb that came with the hue+ i had to do this for my HUE+ since i didnt have any MB 2.0 headers left. Run a usb micro cable to usb from inside the case to the I/O on the MB for the HUE+ unless you want to do it for the cooler i dont know what connector they use. if the cpu cooler still doesnt show up ,switch the headers if then the cooler works but not hue+ your port is dead.

I quickly Googled where I could find the drivers and I found them from this website below. I mainly just wanna change the color of it but also play around with the pump and fan settings later. The NZXT logo shows up white and I can hear the motor silently hum along with the decreased temperatures of my CPU, but I just can't change the settings. I found out that this might interfere with it so I unplugged the fans and the only fans running in my system are the two on the radiator which are plugged into the unit and one in the back plugged directly into the motherboard. The unit features four 4-pin fan headers which I plugged the two from the rad in and two from the front of my case in so that I could get rid of my fan hub. I've done this numerous times and it still hasn't moved the 690LC driver from the Unspecified column and the drivers aren't installed for the Kraken. I hit troubleshoot and after saying that it wasn't installed it had me restart my PC. I did some research and found out that this is indeed the Asetek driver needed for the Kraken to work. I went to my devices and printers and found a missing driver called 690LC. I've hit the little gear at the top of the window and hit "Install NZXT Drivers" and clicked on Kraken, but when it says that the drivers were installed nothing happens to CAM. However I can't seem to install the drivers for the AIO liquid cooler. I also got a Hue+ and when I booted up CAM it recognized the Hue+ immediately and installed the drivers for it. Alright so yesterday I installed my Kraken 圆1 AIO liquid cooler from NZXT which is able to be controlled via NZXT's CAM software.
